Created attachment 176922 [details]
test xml file

Steps To Reproduce:

1. New Calc, go to Data > XML Source.

2. Click "Source File", then use the attached test xml file.
A list of fields are shown in the text box, this is good.

3. Click on the field "fp", so that the records under this node are selected.

4. Now in select a cell to be mapped by clicking on the Shrink button on the right.

--> Nothing imported under windows, but the records are correctly imported under Linux.

Adding Eike Rathke to cc as you have worked on bug 126565.

Wrong addressee, I don't use Windows.

I can't repro with attachment 176922 [details] using Version: 7.4.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: f85e47c08ddd19c015c0114a68350214f7066f5a

== until I copy the XML to a directory containing non-ascii characters ==

(I used a directory named 'テストabcабв').

In such a directory (or when the file itself is renamed like that), I do repro with the mentioned version; and *that* was bug 150247 (it imports OK in current master).

Kevin: is that what you see?

Yes, with a master daily build of "Win-x86_64@tb77-TDF/2022-08-19_05.10.25/" I do not reproduce this, the XML is now imported correctly, while I do reproduce it with an earlier build.

Marking as a duplicate of bug 150247.

@Dongshili maybe you love this fix and I think you should try it out with a daily build. The official daily builds can be downloaded at: https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ . However, if you encounter slow download speed in China then you can use my mirrored site at: https://go.suokunlong.cn:88/dl/libreoffice/daily/ .
