Can't reproduce on Ubuntu 18.04:

Version: 7.2.4.1 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 27d75539669ac387bb498e35313b970b7fe9c4f9
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Seems MacOS-specific.

JC, can you please share all the version information in the Help > About LibreOffice dialog? (There's a button to copy it all.)

Sure, here it is:

Version: 7.2.4.1 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 27d75539669ac387bb498e35313b970b7fe9c4f9
CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 10.16; UI render: default; VCL: osx
Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR
Calc: threaded

For your information, I previously ran Libreoffice 7.1 and I encountered the same prblem, then I installed the latest version before to report this bug. I think maybe there was a side effect by upgrading recently to Mac OS Monterey (12.01)

Some questions:
Do you install a language pack?
Do you have a standard or admin account?
Does the issue go away if you grant LO "Full disk access"?
