NOT reproducible with Installation of Version 7.2.4.1 (x64) / LibreOffice Build 27d75539669ac387bb498e35313b970b7fe9c4f9 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win; Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE; Calc: threaded; Elementary Theme; My normal User Profile @reporter: a) how did you figure out that the problem is diacritic sensitivity? "prâna" will be found? b) Can you please try with a newly created User Profile?
OK, I reset LibreOffice and the problem has disppeared. So, OK to close.
Oops, spoke to soon. I've narrowed down the problem to "Language settings > Languages > Complex Text layout". If this box is unticked then the find bar won't recognise diacritic marks. AFAICS, a bug.
To clarify; if "Language settings > Languages > Complex Text layout" is unticked, then the find bar won't recognise words of the same spelling if they contain diacritic marks. AFAICS, a bug.
Please search before reporting, You may see in Bug 120119 and other bugs this was discussed before.
