Description: After inserting a chart into a spreadsheet the main menu disappears. I can repeat this often. By the following steps. Insert chart. Select chart type => Line -> Lines Only Select Finish. Then select any cell outside the area where the chart is displayed. Then the Main Menu bar disappears/ After this failure, the F10 key shows the "File" menu. Using the Right arrow key I can get over to the "Insert" menu select and create another Chart; which RESTORES the main menu. When a third chart is added the main menu again disappears. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a numeric spreadsheet. 2. Select one line/ 3. Select Insert. Select Chart... 4. Select Chart Type Line Lines Only Press Next > Actual Results: The chart is shown as expected. The main menu bar disappears. Expected Results: The main menu bar should not disappear. I noticed something new. After the Menu disappears, if I go from the Calc window to a non-Calc window and then back to the Calc window, the Menu reappears. So maybe it's an OS problem?

I guess the problem is linked to the use of a dual screen. Right? Status has been set to NEEDINFO, please set it back to UNCONFIRMED once requested information has been provided. Best regards. JBF
Created attachment 177658 [details] screen cast single monitor So I removed unplugged the second monitor, rebooted. Same results. I don't know if my system still thinks it is a multiple monitor system.
I added an attachment showing the bug using a single monitor.
