Description D. Gold 2022-01-05 11:50:30 UTC
Description:
So far as I can see, there is no way of retrieving a file sent to Trash if Empty has not been clicked. It would be good if we had that one last chance to restore a file if we now regret sending it to Trash.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Not applicable
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Inability to retrieve a file if Empty has not been clicked

Expected Results:
Ability to retrieve file if Empty has not been clicked

Reproducible: Always

IMHO, nothing to do with LibreOffice, it is an OS thing.

But what you can do it's set up Menu/Tools/Options/Load&Save/General - Always create a backup copy. You can see the path in Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/Paths/Backup
