Description:
When under "view" selecting sidebar , rulers and grid button, i don't see any grid appearing. 

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a document
2. Click menu : "view"
3. select "grid and helplines"
4. select "display grid"

Actual Results:
No grid is showing

Expected Results:
Seeing a grid


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: Yes

You can change grid default color to Black and try.
Tools> Options>LibreOffice>Application Colors>Text Document>Grid.

Possibly you have the huge values in Grid preferences? Try check it in LibreOffice->Preferences->LibreOffice Writer->Grid
