Steps to reproduce: 

1) Select data in "E" column and copy them
2) At E5 cell, right click, paste special, Unformatted text
3) It is taking ages.... 

(original calc is 5 times of the rows of that).

Solution:
1) Paste Special --> Paste Special (Values only) 
.... in less than second jod done!

I can reproduce in:

Version: 7.2.5.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 499f9727c189e6ef3471021d6132d4c694f357e5
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

After Step 3, LibreOffice uses a full core + has a loading bar with "Load Document" which barely moves.

(I waited for more than 2 minutes, and LibreOffice was just stuck with a white "frozen" screen.)

Much better than it was in 7.2.5.

It finally pasted after:

- ~2 minutes

but still VERY slow compared to what you'd expect.
