the problem still exist in 7.2.6.1 and 7.3.1.1 -

How I can support? Should I send a video?

Video would be nice but best way to help would be for you to attach a document that demonstrates the issue. When I create a new doc and insert a LO spreadsheet as an OLE object then roll my mouse cursor over it, I don't crash.

way to get the bug

it is also easy to reproduce the bug with changing the size of a row
Comment 4 Soeren 2022-05-19 07:44:57 UTC
The problem still exists in all Versions, including 7.4.0.0.alpha.

Is there anybody, really testing with apple silicon.

How I can give you support?

Best regards

Soeren

Confirming with

Version: 7.3.1.3 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: a69ca51ded25f3eefd52d7bf9a5fad8c90b87951
CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 12.2.1; UI render: default; VCL: osx
Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR
Calc: threaded

will try and reproduce on x64 LO version, as otherwise I won't be able to get a backtrace from a daily.

For me, as soon as I drew the lower cell border down with the mouse, the crash occurred.

The simple fact is that the project doesn't produce any daily developer builds that are built specifically for macOS Silicon aarch64, all of the build machines appear to produce x86_64 versions only, and even then, they don't, as far as I understand, include debug symbol information (they are built without the --enable-dbgutil or --enable-debug switches).
Comment 8 Soeren 2022-11-04 16:56:30 UTC
it seems to be fixed in 7.4.3.1

congratulations - because of this, LO was unusable to me for the last months

Thanks a lot

I agree with Soeren. The OLE-closing crash is fixed in 7.4.3.1.
Thousand thanks. Also for me, this would have been a show-stopper.
It seems to be even faster in loading and saving. Great again.
I have to work a lot in MS Word and also Google Docs.
But they are no alternative to LO.
Thanks
Marcus
