Description: New issue with MacOS 12.1 Monterrey on 2016Macbook Pro with Intel chip. Default printer set in OS settings not recognized by Libre Office. Libre Office chooses printer at top of alpha-numeric list. Cannot set default printer in Libre Office either (File/Printer Settings), rather that selection only will apply to the current print command. Next print command even with same document always reverts to non-default printer, ie. the top listed alpha-numerically. Steps to Reproduce: 1.File/Print 2.Default printer not selected 3.Select (default) printer 4.Prints with selected printer 5.File/Print, neither default or last printer used is selected, rather printer at the top of the alpha-numeric list Actual Results: Default printer not recognized and selected by default. Instead Libre Office selects printer from top of alpha-numeric list. Expected Results: Expect Libre Office to automatically choose the default printer. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: SpreadsheetDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Mac OS 12.1 Monterrey OS is 64bit: unsure
I don't understand if I'm supposed to do something. I see under "whiteboard" field in Bugzilla Bug 147020: "QA:needsComment". Does this mean from me, the initiating reporter? sorry confused here.
My issue is now resolved with recent update of the OS. However, Libre Office is the only app that exhibited this issue. Nice to have this working now. Using Libre Office 7.2.5.2 and MacOS 12.3.1
@Steve: the comment under whiteboard was intended for actiln by a member of the QA team, but as the problem has subsequently been resolved, per your comment 2, we can mark this as resolved wfm.
Thank you for fixing this issue and following up. Printing works as expected for me.
