I confirm that the space to the right to the text is bigger than the space to the left (comparing selection of screenshot in GIMP). I had never noticed this... but yeah, this needs to be fixed. Still present in: Version: 24.2.4.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 420(Build:2) CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI: en-US Ubuntu package version: 4:24.2.4-0ubuntu0.24.04.2 Calc: threaded Also present in gtk3... much less noticeable in gen (but still a bit misaligned to the left).
(In reply to Buovjaga from comment #2) > ...space to the right to the text is bigger than the space to the left Is this really what the OP had in mind? I see a minimal shift of the text upwards. But it actually looks okay if the tab and its text becomes a bit outstanding. Whether a "colored bottom line" is visible depends on the system theme. On KDE it's always above the tab, even when running in gtk3-mode.
