Hi, I need often the ^-character, which is on slovak keyboard comfortably available via system shortcut right_Alt+3+SPC (sticky keys feature activated). LibreOffice Writer opens the right pane with the media gallery instead; this happens in normal text mode only, in dialog windows or in formula editing it works fine. IMHO it's a bug; if not, then please tell me, how to change the key assigning (under Tools/Customize/Keyboard I can't found anything). But - because I need sticky keys, the Alt+code method works not for me. Thanks Have a nice day Version: 7.2.5.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 499f9727c189e6ef3471021d6132d4c694f357e5 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: sk-SK (sk_SK); UI: sk-SK Calc: CL
I confirm it for Czech and also Arabic keyboard. AltGr+alphanumeric number -> it opens Right Panel instead inserting the special character. Czech&Arabic keyboard: AltGr+2 open/close Paragraph Styles AltGr+3 Gallery AltGr+4 Navigator AltGr+5 Page AltGr+6 Style Inspector AltGr+7,8,9,0 - for Czech keyboard OK, it is for diacritic signs and after next keypressed it adds a diacritic sign to a letter. For Arabic keyboard it is also OK because it does nothing. AltGr+1 - for Czech Keyboard OK, it puts ~; for Arabic it opens Properties in Right Panel Version: 7.3.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 0f246aa12d0eee4a0f7adcefbf7c878fc2238db3 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 17763; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: cs-CZ (cs_CZ); UI: cs-CZ Calc: CL
For example functional in 7.0.4.2. Czech keyboard: AltGr+3 and then Space puts ^ to the document and not opens the Right Panel. It shouldn't be a bug. In Tools - customize go to tab keyboard and search key kombination ctrl+alt+3 and change this shortcut. Because AltGr is same thing as ctrl+alt.
