Description Ivan Ratoyevsky 2022-02-03 11:36:45 UTC
Description:
a) Carefully downloaded the .deb files for LibreOffice 7.3.0.3-3 from LibreOffice web site.
b) Unzipped the archive files into a folder DEBS (45 files in total)
c) Opened a terminal session in Linux Mint (20.3 una)
d) Installed from the terminal session using the command sudo dpkg -i *.DEB
e) All the components installed without any errors.
f) after installation restarted system
g) logged into my desktop & attempted to run LibreOffice (writer & calc) both times the program cashed.

**Action taken:- Removed LO 7.3 and downloaded fresh copy of the installers, tried to reinstall 7.3 a second time and the same symptoms repeated. Application crashes.

**Removed (purged) Re-installed previous LO version which then installed OK and runs OK on Linux Mint 20.3 UNA.

Actual Results:
a) downloaded the zipped archive files for LO 7.3.0.3-3 from LO website
b) unzipped the installer files to a DEBS folder
c) installation from a terminal session, sudo dpkg -i *.DEBS (45files in total)
d) installs all components OK no obvious errors or glitches (smooth install)
e) restarted the system, login to desktop
f) Run LO 7.3.0.3-3 both Calc & Writer crash.

Expected Results:
Both APPS CRASHED.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
7.3 carefully installed and on both occasions both Calc & Writer crashes. Previous LO re-installed and works perfectly.Hence think there might be a bug in LO 7.3.0.3-3.

Kind Regards Ivan
