Description Gary Williams 2022-02-07 10:01:42 UTC
Description:
When "1/2" is entered into a cell which has been formatted as date it results in the display of the fraction 1/2. Further tests showed that when "1/4" is entered the result is the fraction 1/4. You can get around this by typing the date in full, ie for the first of February, type "1/2/22" which correctly outputs "01/02/22".

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Format a cell as Date, with "31/12/99" as the date format
2.enter the data 1/2
3.

Actual Results:
the fraction "1/2" is displayed

Expected Results:
a date "01/02/22"

Reproducible: Always

You have the options.

1. To disable the substitution on Menu/Tools/Autocorrection - Replace.

2- Enter as 01/2 instead of 1/2.
