Description kirisutojan 2022-02-07 14:57:24 UTC
Problem:

I've added several image tags to a draw document including a description. I wanted to export this to a PDF with enabled accessibility in order to upload it to a learning platform which also checks for accessibility of each document. This platform shows that none of the image tags were properly exported into the tagged pdf.
I verified this with some online accessibility check websites and confirmed that none of the image tags were exported.

Expected solution:

Exporting to PDF with PDF/UA option checked should create a proper tagged PDF file including the image tags and descriptions.

Additional information:

I also played around with the content in draw itself. I deleted a title in one image and the description in another to see if either one of them will be exported but in both cases the result was the same and nothing was exported. Also the exporting options did not make a difference. So to me exporting a PDF/UA file is broken/not working at all.

I just need to reduce the file I found this out with as it's to large to attach.
I also migrated it to writer and the result is the same, there won't be any tagging in the exported PDF for accessibility.

Which file should I provide, odt or odg?

I think no matter if odt or odg filetype. Is it duplicate of bug 139736?
