Description: Os: Windows 10, Windows 11 Libreoffice 7.2.4, 7.2.5, 7.3 32-bit + 64-bit The Libreoffice Windows Explorer Extension ist not working with odt-Files incuding tables. The preview in Windows Explorer doesn't show the content with odt-Files including table-cells. Windows Explorer preview doesn't working in general with .odt, .ods Files on Windows 11, but Windows 11 preview integration is also limited also with other filetypes Steps to Reproduce: 1.open libreoffice writer and insert a table with cells, write a word 2.save to .odt 3.open windows explorer and browse the location of the file, open explorer preview pane: Message: "Für diese Datei kann keine Vorschau angezeigt werden" - for this file no preview possible Actual Results: windows explorer preview not working with .odt Files containing tables windows exporer preview is working with .odt Files not containing tables (on Windows 10) Expected Results: windows explorer should preview .odt Files containig tables on windows 10 Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: windows explorer should preview also .odt, .ods Files generally on windows 11
I tried to test, but got different results. In Win7 preview works, in Win10 couldn't preview any ODT (but it may depend on some local state, on some I couldn't preview even PDF, just TXT). I'll confirm as reported though.
We do not have a native previewer for Explorer. What you see as working is an ODT previewer from MSO. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 89964 ***
