Thank you for reporting the bug. it seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
I installed LOdev-7.3 of most recent daily build. The behaviour was the same as with version 7.1.4.2-release. Additional observations: -the problem occurs when opening a Writer document from the file manager (like Dolphin) and with Writer using the secondary monitor to start in; -resizing the incorrect window in the secondary monitor does not fix the incorrect contents; -moving the window from the secondary to the primary monitor does not fix the incorrect contents; -resizing the incorrect window in the primary monitor (after moving the window from secondary to primary monitor) fixes the incorrect contents; -opening writer without document in the secondary monitor does not result in incorrect contents of the window, neither does opening a writer document from that window.
Winfried, is the problem still present in latest version (LO 7.5)? => NEEDINFO
I will download a 7.5 and check
(In reply to Dieter from comment #4) > Winfried, is the problem still present in latest version (LO 7.5)? > => NEEDINFO No, fortunately I can o longer reproduce the problem.
