Description manfred.koelbel 2022-02-11 16:27:07 UTC
Description:
Since LibreOffice 7.3. (7.3.0.3 (x64) under Win 10 prof a password protected (to open) *.xlsx file is opened READ PROTECTED.
This write protection can only be removed again with a new "Save as ..." WITHOUT "Save with password".
This effect occurs neither with *.xls files nor with *.ods files.
In no case was a password set for document release.
Is there a solution for this? Thank you Manfred

Actual Results:
When opening a *.xlsx file again and after entering the password, the file is opened as write-protected. Access to edit mode fails ("The password is invalid. The file cannot be edited.")

Expected Results:
After opening the password-protected file, editing should be possible.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
This effect occurs neither with *.xls files nor with *.ods files.
