Maybe a duplicate of bug 143142 (for verion 7.1.4.2) Libreoffice Writer Version: 7.0.4.2 Build ID: 00(Build:2) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE Debian package version: 1:7.0.4-4+deb11u1 Calc: threaded Table properties dialog changed behaviour: Tab columns does not show more than 4 columns anymore. Only the first 4 columns are editable. How to reproduce: Open a writer document Insert a table with more than 4 columns Right-klick the table (opens the context menu) Select table properties (opens the dialog window) Select "columns" Expected behaviour: The right arrow button should be active. A klick on this button shows the next (5th) column. Bug (actual behaviour): The right arrow button is inactive (greyed out). A klick on this button does nothing.

Please excuse that I am only able to report the behavior of the "actual" version used in Debian stable (Buster): Version: 7.0.4.2 Build ID: 00(Build:2) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE Debian package version: 1:7.0.4-4+deb11u1 Calc: threaded How can I install a newer version AND get back to the regular Debian track afterwards?
(In reply to info from comment #3) > > How can I install a newer version AND get back to the regular Debian track > afterwards? Can you try Appimage? https://www.libreoffice.org/download/appimage/
Tried to use Appimage, but unfortunately the links on the page are timing out, e.g.: https://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/stable/standard/LibreOffice-fresh.standard-x86_64.AppImage and https://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/stable/standard/LibreOffice-still.standard-x86_64.AppImage Even a 'ping libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com' failed. I will try again later. By the way: What's the difference between a "Fresh" and a "Still" Download? There is no explanation on the page.
Update: The problem seems to be solved in version 7.3.5. Verified for - Version: 7.3.5.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 30(Build:2) CPU threads: 1; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: x11 Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE - Debian package version: 1:7.3.5~rc2-1~bpo11+1 Calc: threadedVersion: 7.3.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 0f246aa12d0eee4a0f7adcefbf7c878fc2238db3 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE Please note: The site providing the 'appimages' (libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com) still times out. A 'ping libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com' still fails, but other URLs work (e.g.: 'ping www.soluzioniopen.com')
Tanks for testing, closing
