Description Michael L 2022-02-24 18:05:50 UTC
Description:
When a paragraph, having a border and a top padding, is displayed at the top of any page of a section, the top padding is also used as a spacing above the paragraph.
E.g. I define a top padding of 20px for a paragragh, the it is shown at the top af any page of a section correctly with the 20px top padding BUT in addition with a 20px space above the paragraph.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Add a section to the document
2.Add a paragraph with a border and a top padding of 50px
3.Make the paragraph to appear at the top of a page withing the section

If you use 100ox instead of the 50 px, then the space above the paragraph is 100px as well. The space of above the paragraph is ALWAYS equal to top padding.

Actual Results:
There is a spacing of 50px above the paragraph in addition to the 50px top padding

Expected Results:
There is a spacing of 50px above the paragraph in addition to the 50px top padding

Reproducible: Always

Screen shot of the problem: Paragraph with top padding behaviour in a section

This screen shot shows the problem when the paragraph with a top padding is added to a section. There is wrongly in addition to the top padding a top spacing above the paragraph.

Problem with 4cm top padding

Scrrenshot to show that the wrong spacing above the paragraph is identically to the top padding of the paragraph.
In this case I deleted the paragraph, changed the top padding of the paragraph to 4cm and added it again.
Now there is a 4cm spacing above the paragraph

I want to use the GLobal Document function that is based on Sections.
Due to this wrong behaviour I can't use the Global Document funtion at all.

So this bug fix would be vital, that the Global Document function can be used.
