Description adrienne 2022-02-25 23:48:48 UTC

The entire Libreoffice interface scales to about 300% larger than it should be. The interface becomes unusable as a result. If you click on a button (for example, the paste button in Writer), Italics gets activated instead.

The bug is not present when downgrading to 7.2.5

@Adrienne :

Have you tried turning off all of the Skia rendering options ?

In the LibreOffice application menu, Preferences > General > View/Display > Image Render/Display

Sounds very similar to bug 145991

The problem seems to be related to the forced use of the Skia engine for rendering, which has been turned off in the upcoming 7.3.1 release.

Yes, that resolved the issue - but it was extremely difficult because I had to guess where to click in order to uncheck the Skia chekbox.

I think it makes sense to turn off forced activation of Skia until it can be used without any issues.
