Created attachment 179432 [details] Screenshots of test results In both Writer and Impress 1. Make a test string with no font effects ("Without") 2. Copy the string twice. 3. Use Font Effects to apply Case... a. "small caps" to one string b. "UPPERCASE" to the other string. 4. Compare the results of the three versions. Attachment shows my results with 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ Comments: Writer gives small caps, except for first letter Impress: small caps appears to be no different than UPPERCASE Take a look at bug 98367. Maybe this bug report is a DUP (or related).
For me, 'Small capitals' is greyed out in the menu in Impress, so the option can't be used
(In reply to Xisco Faulí from comment #9) > For me, 'Small capitals' is greyed out in the menu in Impress, so the option > can't be used Repro that Format > Text > Small capitals is greyed out. @Xisco -- did you try: 1. Place cursor in text to be small cap'ed. 2. Right-click, choose Character 3. Choose "Font Effects" tab. 4. In "Case" dropdown box in Effects section, choose "Small capitals". Does that not work for you? (aside from the fact that it gives the result of UPPERCASE letters, which is the OP).
I repro and it seems to be a dupe indeed *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 98367 ***
