Created attachment 178660 [details] Impress file with table. I have a impress document that: If I remove all characters in any cell in the table of attached file, save it and reopen it then return the remove characters, all visible other time.
I have tested this using 7.3.1.3 release on GNU/Debian Linux 11
-open file- - delete text Balance inicial (en miles) - save - reload confirm with Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha1+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: b6e0ae1b1bad5e222e21bbb4b2a158c1fc6f9779 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.13; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: cs-CZ (cs_CZ.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Jumbo and Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: efca6f15609322f62a35619619a6d5fe5c9bd5a)
I assume this to be a duplicate of bug 141886; it was introduced in version 7.1, and fixed for 7.4. When you delete text from table cells, *exit the cell* and save the document, the deleted text appeared in the file again. But comment 2 is likely mistaken, talking about something very different. Even in OOo 3.1.1 from 2009, when you deleted text from a cell and *did not leave the cell*, saving the document did not save the currently active edit. This is still true in current trunk. I close it as the duplicate; please open a separate issue for the phenomena above if needed. Thanks. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 141886 ***
