Several macOS hangs were recently either fixed by a known commit or reported to have disappeared, such as bug 148435 and bug 148895. I know it's hard to test as you saw it randomly, but you could try a master build from https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/current.html To run it, see https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/open-a-mac-app-from-an-unidentified-developer-mh40616/mac Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
In 7.4.3.2, the issues are still present. Lockups occur mostly when copying/pasting with CMD+C/CMD+V, but even when just scrolling through a table with the mouse. Sorry, I do not have the capacity to test with prerelease builds.
