Description: After I installed LibreOffice 7.2.5 Win x64.msi on Windows 11 home version, LibreOffice would not open, even in safe mode. I had to uninstall version 7.2.5 and reinstall version 7.1.8 of LibreOffice in order to be able to open it. Once I reinstalled the earlier version it seemed to work fine. I have an older computer that runs Windows 7. I had no problem installing and opening the new version of LibreOffice on the Windows 7 computer, and it seems to work fine. Just not on Windows 11. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install 7.2.5.2 on Windows 11 computer 2.Try to open LibreOffice, even in safe mode Actual Results: LibreOffice will not open Expected Results: LibreOffice should have opened Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Text below is copied from Windows 7 installation, since LibreOffice would not open in Windows 11 Version: 7.2.5.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 499f9727c189e6ef3471021d6132d4c694f357e5 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL

Not the same as bug 148307 since it won't even open in Safe Mode Graphic card is AMD Radeon Graphics, driver version is 27.20.21030.1005
User Profile Reset: indicates you should rename or delete your LO profile folder. https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile Then, if still Safe mode doesn't work, you should start without Skia. I think you need to type: set SAL_DISABLESKIA=1 path-to\soffice.exe
I have 3 questions. First, since LO will not open even in safe mode on my Windows 11 laptop, what if I rename the LO profile folder and it still does not open, even in safe mode? Do I then restore the original LO profile folder? Second, where do I type the set and path-to statements, and how do I get there in Windows 11? Third, it seems like it would be safer to keep using LO version 7.1.8 on my Windows 11 laptop and LO version 7.2.5 on my Windows 7 desktop, since both versions work fine in the different Windows versions. Possibly I could wait until another version of LO comes out and try installing that newer version on the laptop?
The problem was fixed by installing the latest version of LibreOffice, version 7.2.6.2 (x64). When I installed this version, then LibreOffice opened with no problem.
