The roundtripped file in Word 2013 and in Writer

This is a followup to bug 146851

When attachment 177683 [details] is saved and reloaded in Writer, the originally restarted numbering is disappearing in Word 2013.

1, Open attachment 177683 [details]
2, Save as DOCX, load it in Word.

Note around page 11 under the paragraph "Restraint period" the paragraph numbering is originally (a) (a) (b) but when the saved file is opened in Word, there are no numbering symbols in place of the two (a), the third (b) is visible.

Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: cfd82e7a2cc2b45b738eb0efa0827196d2de61a4
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: hu-HU (hu_HU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

This was bibisected in windows-7.3 to:

tdf#143517 partial revert "tdf#141964 writerfilter CN: get para...

Before this the two (a) paragraph numbering symbols appeared correctly in Word (not in Writer, see bug 148049 about that).

I confirm it with

Version: 7.3.2.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 49f2b1bff42cfccbd8f788c8dc32c1c309559be0
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: zh-CN (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: CL

The original and exported files in Word 2013

This got worse in Word 2013 in:

Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha1+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: a353f633ec029fc5c7cdc8062aefb6f979265a9e
CPU threads: 14; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (hu_HU); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

After

https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/198381eb32edcc3e82d0f23df65f0804a08b44e6

tdf#148455 docx import/export: improvements to lvlOverride

Now the numbered list with two paragraphs containing restarted numbering appears completely without the letters in parentheses vs only the two paragraphs numbering disappearing.

This seems to be fixed in 7.3.x since

committer	Miklos Vajna <vmiklos@collabora.com>	Thu May 19 17:08:00 2022 +0200

tdf#148132: Revert "n#758883 dmapper: paragraph-level..."

Now the "Restraint period" numbering is the correct (a) (a) (b) in Word 2016.
