Description: The MacOS dark mode is not taken into account properly by LibreOffice. It is a annoying issue for text editing (selected text becomes illegible) and for slide show (background color switches to white background and then all is illegible). Steps to Reproduce: 1. MacOS preference > General > Appearance > Dark 2. Open a new presentation in LibreOffice 3. Write something in the slide title 3bis. Slide Show > Start from first slide Actual Results: 3. It change the white text color to dark grey which is very difficult to read 3bis. in presentation mode, the dark background is white, so all your white text are not readible. Expected Results: 3. It should keep a light color to be readible in dark mode 3bis. The background should be black Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Also, less important, but the "Slide" and "Properties" windows are still white background. Please see screen captures attached Version: 7.2.4.1 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 27d75539669ac387bb498e35313b970b7fe9c4f9 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 10.15.7; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: en-GB (en_FR.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
Created attachment 179161 [details] Wrong default color when clicking on text box "Hi" is changed to dark color while it should stay bright
Created attachment 179162 [details] Wrong background color in Slide Show THe background color of the current slide is white while it should be black. In this example, there is a title in white color which is then illegible because the background color shifted to white
Also tested with release version 7.2.5.2

I'm not getting this: attachment 179161 [details] on my mac with dark-mode enabled. For me everything is simply non-dark-mode Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: c1205c1cf6e08d94e6e2e2753679d99bc1842ca0 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 12.2.1; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: osx Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
You're right @Telesto, thanks to have checked. The issue is actually not related to macOS dark mode, but to LO dark scheme. Actually my LO was set to Dark scheme, which I didnot know. If I remove the macOS dark mode, it still behaves as in my screenshots. So it is a LO's dark scheme issue, not related to macOS's dark mode, sorry about the confusion. I might open a new bug report focused on this if I don't find a bug already opened about this.
