Description: When I run any LibreOffice app (e.g. Write or Calc) for the first time after (re)booting Windows, it will hang for one minute for each connected network printer that is not available. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Connect to a printer in Windows 11 that is shared by another Windows host on the local network (in my case, by a Windows 7 host). 2. Print the test page from within the Windows 11 printer control panel. 3. Shut down the Windows host where the printer is physically connected. 4. Reboot the Windows 11 system. 5. Run any LibreOffice app in any way. E.g. run Write, or double click a Calc document in Windows explorer, or run soffice.exe and click on a recent document there. Actual Results: The LibreOffice app hangs for one mintue. Of for two minutes if there are two unavailable network printers. Then everything carries on fine, until you reboot Windows and try again. LibreOffice will immediately end hanging and continue normally, if - the printer host ist started up and running, or - the Win11 system is disconnected from the local network (plug off the network cable) Expected Results: Do not hang on program startup. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 7.2.6.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: b0ec3a565991f7569a5a7f5d24fed7f52653d754 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22000; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE Calc: CL This may be related to Bug 42673 - With disconnected network printers, Calc hangs opening some files waiting on the Windows print spooler. Probably not specific to Windows 11 but will occur at least also on Windows 10. Note on severity: It is annoying when using on a laptop. Must either start up the home PC or wait for two minutes before being able to use LibreOffice on the laptop at home.
