Dear, sidebar flickers quickly , changing content of the main area with sidebar area. when whole LibreOffice is defocused, and only mouse pointer pointed into the sidebar again and the app is focused, flickering again begin but differs in the background of sidebar is not flickering, but only the text elements etc within the sidebar itself. If e.g. Navigator is selected again as sidebar, it starts to flicker in the first pattern described. It is the same in Writer, or Calc - common underlying tech issue.
