Screenshots showing the problem

When I edit DOCX files and create comments in the Header / Footer areas, the comments are not saved. So when I save the DOCX file and reopen it, the comment is lost.

See the attached ODG file with screenshots detailing the problem.

If the DOCX file is saved as ODT, then comments are saved as expected. Therefore, it seems to be a problem in the DOCX export filter.

Word does not allow to have comments in headers/footers. This is simply a format limitation. This is not a bug.

Hi Mike. Thanks for the prompt feedback.

Indeed you're right. I tested in MS Office 365 and the option to create comments in the header/footer is simply not available.
