I followed using comment 2's file + steps very similar to comment 1's video:

I did these steps:

0. Opened attachment 179717 [details] ODT.
1. Left-Clicked on a random "equation".
2. Ctrl+C.
--- Edit > Copy
3. Left-Clicked in a blank paragraph/section of the document (on the same page).
4. Ctrl+V.
--- Edit > Paste
5. Ctrl+Z.
--- Edit > Undo

BUG: See the original copied equation sometimes, oddly, moves far to the right.

EXPECT: The copied "equation" should not move at all. Ctrl+Z should return the document to exactly how it was before the paste.
