I confirm for attached DOCX in LO 5.2 and 7.4+. Table looked better in LO 5.0, can be called regression, in 5.1. But, if resaved in MSO as New or even Compatible, table is seen OK, indicating this is not a regular DOCX but generated or edited with improper software. I set New as Low.
Thank you for the quick reply. I tested LibreOffice 5.0.6.3 and I did not see any differences. I would be interested to know which version shows the table correctly if it exists. Thanks,
Created attachment 179786 [details] DOCX compared Opens table in 5.0.0 and already wrong in 5.0.6. My or 5.0 Linux repo in general is not updated, so no bibisect for me. Do not set Needinfo, that's for others asking you as a reporter.
Hi, I did some tests and the table looks better until version 5.0.2.2. The regression begins at version 5.0.3.1. Thanks
Bibisected to range: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/log/?qt=range&q=78e1acffcb3d40266bc075c8b88595accbf62a1b..8d16834a9820fb8c983753c3e2a05922885060b9
Previous change in the same repo was for the 1st cell "Version" in https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/log/?qt=range&q=240d1f289c5788845cd4336f223f2c4bc8975a99..4f918cd5daed963287805da761e6983a392ae050 Miklos, please see if your commits 226df017ee949429657dea20e2d21e2775e4d162 and f4badd9a485f32f787d78431ed673e2932973887 caused this. (I suspect this because the later has a code "bad" hidden inside).
Just browsing the commit list does not ring a bell for me, so this would need bisecting I fear.
Xisco, can you please build without those commits to check? Can you explain why my 50max repo is not updated to contain those changes? I used dbgutil 5.1 repo.

The code has changed so much the original code is no longer, but at first glance, they don't look related
(In reply to Rom M. from comment #5) > Hi, > > I did some tests and the table looks better until version 5.0.2.2. > The regression begins at version 5.0.3.1. > > Thanks I do confirm this. List of changes there: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Releases/5.0.3/RC1
The issue is also reproducible in 4.4.7.2 but not in 4.4.7.1 -> https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Releases/4.4.7/RC2
(In reply to Xisco Faulí from comment #12) > The issue is also reproducible in 4.4.7.2 but not in 4.4.7.1 -> > https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Releases/4.4.7/RC2 Sorry, not reproducible in libreoffice-4.4.6.3
If you are saying that's in https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Releases/4.4.7/RC1 then only DOCX is the one I already found as f4badd9a485f32f787d78431ed673e2932973887 from bug 92454.
Dear Rom M., To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
