Description: Add to list: at this level or only adding to list Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open attachment 179780 [details] 2. Select hello 3. Press CTRL and place cursor at 'ddd' 4. Release CTRL 5. Format -> Lists -> Add to list Actual Results: Adds the entry to the list, at level 1 Expected Results: I'm less inclined to press Add to list, by placing the cursor at say level 3 (1.1.1) if I tend to add something at level 1 of the list I kind of expect that add content to appear at the same level as where the cursor is on. So maybe this is how it should work? Maybe this being me.. Only sharing.. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 4659fc2f0a7223a89446edff0b77e58758b5edf5 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (nl_NL); UI: en-US Calc: CL
The help [1] is clear on this: "The position of the paragraphs in the document does not change." And your confusion with 1.1.1 making Hello something on the third level (if not moving the paragraph) couldn't work with the same list. => NAB [1] https://help.libreoffice.org/7.3/en-US/text/swriter/02/add_to_list.html
