I work on Lubuntu 21.04, LibreOffice Version: 7.2.5.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 20(Build:2) CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 5.11; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU.UTF-8); UI: ru-RU Ubuntu package version: 1:7.2.5~rc2-0ubuntu0.21.04.1~lo1 Calc: threaded I try to create footer/header in Libreoffice Calc. When I try copy/paste text it's not work. Then I realized what copy/paste work but only when I switch language to English. When editing a footer/header , you cannot use keyboard shortcuts (such as CTRL+C/CTRL+V/CTRL+A) in your native language. Keyboard shortcuts work only in English. Then I try this case on Windows XP x86 on old version of LibreOffice Calc(about 4). This case repeat. On old version of LibreOffice Calc on Windows XP this problem also exists. Thank you! Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open LibreOffice Calc 2.Enter in Insert in top menu 3.Choose Footer/Header 4.Pick CentralAria or another Arias 5.Try copy, choose all or paste text with keyboard shortcut on English 6.It work on English system language 7.Then switch system language (not in LibreOffice), on my PC it can do with SHIFT+ALT 8.Try copy, choose all or paste text with keyboard shortcut 9.It don't work on other language (I use Russian language) Actual Results: Copy, choose all or paste text with keyboard shortcut don't work on other system language when creating footer or header Expected Results: Copy, choose all or paste text with keyboard shortcut work on other system language when creating footer or header Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: )

I could not find issues in the Footer tab. Changing the keyboard layout in the OS settings did not change the results. I tested with English (United Kingdom) and German (Germany) on Windows, and with English (Australian) and German (dead tilde) on Linux. Ctrl + A always worked. --- Header tab --- 1) For the original "Sheet1" text: I _could_ copy and cut it from the Centre area, but I could _not_ paste it in the three fields of the dialog. However, I _could_ paste that "Sheet1" in a different app, like Notepad. After closing the dialog, I could still paste it in a different app but still couldn't in a Calc cell. 2) For text that I added myself: Cutting, copying and pasting worked as expected in the dialog, in a Calc cell after closing the dialog, and in Notepad. If I copy or cut text that includes both "Sheet1" and some extra text, it only pastes the custom text (and loses "Sheet1"). --- Footer tab --- The footer tab was different in that I could copy, cut and paste anything to and from anywhere, including the original content "Page 1". Pasting the original "Page 1" in a Calc cell results in "Page ?", the "?" being a field. Pasting it in Notepad results in "Page 1". I _could_ copy text before opening the dialog, and then paste text inside the dialog, in both Header and Footer. On Linux, it is clearly visible that the whole of "Sheet1" is a field whereas only the "1" of "Page 1" is a field (thanks to the shading). --- To summarise --- According to my tests, my summary of the issue: "Sheet1" in "Insert > Headers and Footers... > Header" can be cut and copied but not pasted anywhere in Calc (dialog or cells). Changing the keyboard layout has no effect. Leonid, can you please check again and tell us if you see something different? And please test a newer version of LibreOffice (7.4 or above) because 7.2 and 7.3 have already reached end of life.

Pure text worked fine. Leonid's screenshots show pure text, so it appears none of us can reproduce that specific problem.
