Created attachment 180011 [details] Writer doesn't do what the tooltip hover message says See the screenshot for details. #+TITLE: On a clickable image, Writer doesn't follow the hyperlink that pops up in the hover tooltip 1. Down below you see a clickable image followed by a footnote. #+ATTR_ODT: :style "Text_20_body_20_bold" #+begin_block _NOTE_: If you don't see the footnote number, look closely. The footnote number appears as /if it is a subscript/ because of the difference in sizes between the image and the note number. I agree that no sane person will footnote a clickable image, but the document structure permits it. So, ... #+end_block 2. Hover the mouse over them image, and make sure the tooltip says #+begin_quote /~Ctrl-click~ to open hyperlink: ~https://orgmode.org~/ #+end_quote 3. Now ~Ctrl-click~ 4. You will see that the cursor moves to the footnote. #+ATTR_ODT: :style "Text_20_body_20_bold" I expect that the link to ~https://orgmode.org~ opens in the browser. 5. Insert a ~SPC~ between the clickable image and footnote, and repeat the previous steps. You will see that ~https://orgmode.org~ opens in the browser.
