Description: WHen I play odp files created with Impress < 7.2 which contain mp4 video files, video don't play and a freeze occurs. Likewise, it's impossible to create such files with mp4 files. I have thus to have a 7.2 LO installed Steps to Reproduce: 1.include a mp4 video file in an Impress presentation 2.play it 3. Actual Results: freeze of video / crash of Impress Expected Results: video file played smoothly as before Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: freeze

You reported Linux but please add Help-About info to know which one exactly, GTK, KDE... Also write how you installed 7.3.2 and try 7.3.3. Linux needs gstreamer, so if you have Ubuntu GTK3 you must have gstreamer1.0-gtk3. Finally you may try with changing some options in Tools-Options-View. I also see no crash with 7.3 or 7.4+ in Mint/Ubuntu GTK3 so that's likely some local problem or installation.
Hi, the laptop runs with KDE neon LO 7.3.2 was installed by downloading the package on the LO website gstreamer1.0-gtk3 is installed thanks again
If it's Ubuntu, did you try with PPA? I guess that in KDE you don't use gstreamer1.0-gtk3 but some appropriate.
Since there is no response I will close. Advice was given to use appropriate gstreamer package for KDE. When reporting bug always paste Help-About info. In this case, Notabug. For gstreamer in general, reporters should summit bug at distro packager.
