Description Panagiotis Follas 2022-05-17 09:19:15 UTC
Description:
if I add a shape on writer or a shape on impress and I want to delete it by choosing it, I have to press the delete keyboard. There is not such an option in the right click menu or in the menu for this command?? why is this taboo? Why I can not use mouse for this action too?

I am currently working on impress doing some slides for my lessons and I can not delete with a mouse the element on the slides... OMG!!! I have to press the delete button!

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to impress and start a document
2. And you want to delete the title box.
3. only by pressing the delete button. There is no visual option when I press the right click or in the menu!!!!

Actual Results:
I don't know what is this section sorry. I wrote a dummy text.

Expected Results:
there is not a menu option for deleting the selected object on impress or in the writer

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
By pressing the right click I should have an option to delete the selected element.

In the right-click context menu, Cut works.

Also, for mouse only use (no <Del> key required) it is trivial to add the .uno:Delete control to each of the Context menus you might like the function on; Shape, 3D-object, Group, Image, OLE object.

Done from the Customize -> Context Menus panel.
