Hello, Stemming from this discussion https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/keyboard-not-working-in-calc/73114 There is an issue experienced in LibreOffice Calc that the keyboard stops responding except for keys like NumLock, Windows-key, alt+tab etc. But no function keys, no numeric keyboard, no arrows, no characters/numbers/spacebar works. Mouse-operations still works though. It happens when I open a pw protected file. Typing the correct password opens the document but keyboard is dead. If document is close to return to LibreOffice "start" screen, the keyboard is still dead. It is not possible to tab between options or use the alt-key to make selections from the menu. Using the mouse, it it possible to create a new Writer document but keyboard remains dead. Actually, same thing may happen if typing an incorrect password. After first try, the keyboard is lost and I cannot retry with a new password. However this behavior is not entierly consistent; if a blank Calc was opened first. If LibreOffice is closed and restart, keyboard works again. It is possible to open an blank Calc document and type in text for instance. Similar items - Bug 146481 may be a similar issue - https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/calc-stops-responding-to-keyboard-only-mouse/61175 It might be worth noting that all reporters in above thread are using the same Debian release. Please test with a clean profile, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode
Restart in Safe Mode makes no difference. Adding another case to to the list of similar issues Bug 146936 - Libreoffice loosing all keyboard inputs after certein tooltip conditions

I confirm that installing libreoffice-gtk3 is a valid workaround. Thanks @Michi.
Yes, installing libreoffice-gtk3 appears to solve the problem!
I tested both with the latest master and 7.0 with the 'gen' UI and there is no such problem for me with a password protected file. Do you see this in a newer version than 7.0, if you launch with SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen libreoffice Arch Linux 64-bit, X11 Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fba19e93cca9a7cdfa1e4ac92291cd0b7f06d715 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.2; UI render: default; VCL: x11 Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Built on 24 March 2023
