Description phv 2022-05-19 11:54:36 UTC
Of all the objects that can be inserted in a LibreOffice document, only tables cannot use a space punctuation character in their titles. This forces me to copy and paste other whitespace characters to get around this limitation.

Would it be possible to support the regular space character (U+0020) in these titles, or does a specific format prevent this?

Thank you.

It is the "Name:" field choosing menu Table - Insert, or in the dialog Table Properties - Table tab.

Table - Insert dialog do not allow to add a space.

Table Properties - Table tab allow to add a spaces, but when do you hit OK, there is a message: "The name of the table must not contain spaces.

Indeed table title and table name are two different elements. I was referring to the name, please excuse this confusion.
