Attachment displays the problem that motivates the suggestion in the summary, namely that the number in the "Number of Columns" spinbox in the "Insert Table" dialog is cutoff in appearance

Its hard to think of many dialogs simpler than that one. I can't reproduce under windows with the 7.4.0.0alpha1. There is enough space in there to show the numbers without getting cut off so I don't know what is causing that.

How about writer's "edit, go to page" or "view, zoom, zoom" are they also affected?
