On Writer I got a crash with gtk3 and kf5 but not gen rendering. Do you reproduce this with gen rendering?
(In reply to Julien Nabet from comment #1) > On Writer I got a crash with gtk3 and kf5 but not gen rendering. > Do you reproduce this with gen rendering? Using gen Writer doesn't crash
Still reproducible with Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha1+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 6959a18d1a8fea4d65498083dc3ba05f640d0f39 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.13; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: id-ID (id_ID.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
I don't know why Julien didn't confirm. I didn't test yet but I set New. Just in case, did you try with a new profile?
Not reproduced in Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha1+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: c3baf2a7f48b5ee46c6792b3106cb4fedb4a2ad2 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: es-ES (es_ES.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
(In reply to Timur from comment #4) > I don't know why Julien didn't confirm. I didn't test yet but I set New. > Just in case, did you try with a new profile? Yes I have deleted old user profile completely (rm -Rf ~/.config/libreofficedev) and issue is persist
(In reply to Timur from comment #4) > I don't know why Julien didn't confirm. I didn't test yet but I set New. > Just in case, did you try with a new profile? It's because I wanted to be sure it wasn't another bug I had. Anyway, I think it should be fixed thanks to Miklos' patch https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=b3f2ae52e381f7d5fa466dc9df7d04d3d13ca4b9. (I'll give it a try tonight)
Also experienced that with: Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha1+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 212cb61fb6adc05395b9f9afe0dacbd6594ae06b CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.13; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded with user profile reset. OS is Ubuntu 20.04.
With master sources updated today, I confirm I don't reproduce the crash anymore. I'm pretty sure it's thanks to Miklos' patch https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=b3f2ae52e381f7d5fa466dc9df7d04d3d13ca4b9. Rizal/Strago: don't hesitate to reopen this tracker if you still reproduce this with a build which includes the quoted patch. (Miklos: I assigned this one to you since you made the fix! :-))
Also verified as fixed on: Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha1+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 3676fb9d7b505d9f8079008b41e423b54663a86a CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.13; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Thank you all!
