Recently there have been stability improvements to the macOS version. Have you still experienced freezes with version 7.5? Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

I tried to respond last May. Installed 7.5.2.1. Still has issues but not as severe. Opening a spreadsheet or writer doc still get spinning beachball. Force quit says Libreoffice not responding. After force quit, get recovery dialog. After recovery seems to work without issue.

And to be clear, this freezing may happen even with blank documents?
The bug in the backtrace got fixed, I'm sure about that. No clue when, could be LibreOffice 7.5.4. LibreOffice 7.5.2.1 is too old
bnewberger: can you test with a new version, like 7.5.5 or 7.6.0?

Can’t you see that there were responses on 9-07? I am currently on extended travel and will not have access to my Mac mini running Catalina until second week of Nov at earliest. So I cannot test with 7.5.5 or 7.6.0 until then.

Apologies, there is a problem with the automated system
