Update from whiuch to which version? Bug makes sense only if reproducible. Did it happen to you multiple times? Which folders do you find in C:\Users\<username>\Application Data\LibreOffice\ , which one has "user" ?
Created attachment 180769 [details] Screenshot Starcenter and Menu/Recent documents On the Start center, recent documents has nothing, while through Menu/Recent documents they are.
Version: 7.5.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: e0c5f8b4f6152d19044f998edc293b4bb636e66c CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-US Calc: CL
Miguel, so this is not about upgrade? Does it populate after some time? Did you reset profile? Or is it a regression?
At least, it happens for me since Version: 6.4.7.2 (x64) Build ID: 639b8ac485750d5696d7590a72ef1b496725cfb5 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: GL; VCL: win; Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI-Language: en-US Calc: CL
I still don't understand where is the bug, looking at attachment 180769 [details]. If you expect a list under Recent button, no, list is in large window at the right. Look at Templates, also there is just filtering, not the list itself. Please write exact Experienced and Expected.
Maybe it's the intended behavior, but a selection with only one selection doesn't look very orthodoxy. Putting directly 'Clear recent documents' seems more adequate.
