Description: Selecting the Japanese currency [JPY ¥ Japanese] from the drop-down of the currency icon, it will be Jordan's currency. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter the number 1234 in Cell [A1] 2. Select Cell [A1] 3. Select [JPY ¥ 日本語] from the dropdown of the currency icon. or Select [JPY ¥ Japanese] (I don't know how it is written in each country.) Actual Results: Cell [A1] : د.أ. 1,234.-- It is Jordan's currency. Expected Results: Cell [A1] : ¥ 1,234 Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Selecting The standard format in each country at the top row is correctly [¥ 1,234]. Selecting [JPY] located at the bottom will be [1,234 JPY] correctly. Selecting [JPY ¥ Japanese] from the cell format setting, it will be [¥ 1,234] correctly. The problem is only [JPY ¥ Japanese] in the middle of the currency icon drop-down. There is no problem with Ver 7.2.1.2 There seems to be a problem after Ver7.3 Reproduce with Ver 7.3.0.3 Reproduce with Latest Ver 7.4.0.0.beta1
On pc Debian x86-64 with LO Debian package 7.3.4.1, first I didn't reproduce this. Then I thought about locale and when using Japanese for Locale setting (and UI still in English US or even with French UI), I could reproduce this.
