Description: Try to add a new remote file service using Google Drive. Select Google Drive at Manage Service and type in user name and password. The error "The specified device is invalid" is returned. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select Remote Files 2. Select Manage services -> Add service 3. Select Google Drive in Type 4. Input Google user name and password Actual Results: Error prompt "The specified device is invalid" Expected Results: Connect to Google Drive to select files. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Resolve the bug so that LO can access Google Drive as one of the file locations.

Hello, It's been a while since this issue was reported. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

I was able to reproduce the exact behaviour on: - Windows 11 - LibreOffice 25.8.1 x86-64 I was able to reproduce this with three paths. Expected behaviour: Able to connect to Google Drive with the correct email address and password. Steps to reproduce 1: 1. Open LibreOffice. On the left navigation bar, there is Remote Files, beneath Open File 2. Select Remote Files. On the popup, you will see a dropdown with Manage Services. 3. Click on Manage Services. You'll see Add Services. 4. Select Add Services. Google Drive is the default option. There is a User and Password field. 5. Enter email and password in those fields. Result: The specified device is invalid error. Steps to reproduce 2: 1. Open LibreOffice. On the left navigation bar, there is Remote Files, beneath Open File 2. Select Remote Files. On the popup, you will see a dropdown with Manage Services. 3. Click on Manage Services. You'll see Add Services. 4. Select Add Services. Google Drive is the default option. There is a User and Password field. 5. Enter just the email address in the User field, and click Ok. An authentication Required popup appeared, and requests User name and Password. 6. Enter email address and password in those fields respectively. Result: The specified device is invalid error. Alternate 6. Enter the email address but not the the Password field on the Authentication Required screen, and click Ok Result: You are redirected to a screen with an Authentication url you are are instructed to copy into a web browser. Result: Access blocked: LibreOffice’s request is invalid
