If I remember fine, for Mac you need JDK installed not JRE.
Hello I have done tests with the JDK and not the JRE It was an error on my description the file used for Java installation indicate JDK on filename: OpenJDK8U-jdk_x64_mac_hotspot_8u332b09.pkg OpenJDK18U-jdk_aarch64_mac_hotspot_18.0.1_10.pkg

The fact that you could see both versions of different architecture JDKs in 7.2.x was an error. Confirming with Version: 7.1.8.1 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: e1f30c802c3269a1d052614453f260e49458c82c CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 10.16; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded In LO 7181, I see both x64 and aarch64 versions of Oracle JDK (in fact I see a whole load of much older versions that are installed on my system as well), but that doesn't mean that they will all work correctly with LO, or be crash-free (quite the opposite, in my experience). Confirming with regard to multiple JDK entries in versions <=7.2, but given that 7.2 is EOL since June 12th, 2022, nothing more will happen here, and I can't confirm the lack of recognition of JDK in 7.3.4.2 for Arm. It may be, of course, that the Adoptium/termium aarch64 OpenJDK version isn't recognized, I haven't tested that part of the report, as Oracle JDK works for me.
The lack of any JDK recgonition in LO 7.2.x for Arm was already known from bug 144128 (and also bug 146444). @Robert : 7.2 is EOL. If you want to open a bug report against non-recognition of the latest stable release of Adoptium/termium aarch64 OpenJDK version in 7.3, and put me on copy, I can confirm that. Alex *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 144128 ***

@Robert : could you go and confirm bug 149773 ?
I have no problem with my LibreOffice 7.3.x installation Adoptium/Temurin OpenJDK 18.0.1_10 version is detected for ARM
(In reply to Robert from comment #8) > I have no problem with my LibreOffice 7.3.x installation > Adoptium/Temurin OpenJDK 18.0.1_10 version is detected for ARM Yes, correct, sorry about that, the tar.gz bundle provides archived debug symbols and not the binaries, my mistake.
