Description: I have installed the latest still version ("slightly older and does not have the latest features, but it has been tested for longer") but an icon offering "LibreOffice update available" is still appearing at top-right of my window. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install LibreOffice 7.2.7.2 on Windows X64 2. Run Libreoffice, or Calc, or Writer 3.Wait about 30 seconds and see the update-available icon appear at top-right of your window. Actual Results: An update-available icon appears although I am running the most recent still release. Expected Results: No update-available icon should appear unless an update is available. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: Version: 7.2.7.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 8d71d29d553c0f7dcbfa38fbfda25ee34cce99a2 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded
Upon starting LibreOffice 7.2.7.2 I see no globe 'update-available' available icon in the top-right corner of my window, but one appears after about 25 seconds (no user interaction required). Clicking on the icon brings up a dialog titled 'Check for Updates' which states: "LibreOffice 7.3.4 is available. "The installed version is LibreOffice 7.2.7.2." Clicking the "Download" button in the dialog takes me to https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/?lang=en-GB&version=7.3.4&pk_campaign=update which offers a 'fresh' version 7.3.4 and a 'still' version 7.2.7. Downloading and installing the 'still' version doesn't upgrade anything. It may be that I have inadvertantly set something which requests the 'fresh' version, but I cannot find such a setting, nor can I find mention of such a thing through a search engine.
I am experiencing the same problem. I have never had this problem with versions prior to 7.2.7.2.
This has been reported by various users. I am setting this to NEW.
