Description: The version of the Liberation fonts installed by the installation wizard is out of date, and on Windows systems the wizard overwrites any existing version, even if newer. The font version installed by the wizard should therefore be updated to the current version, 2.1.5. Alternatively, the wizard could give the user the option to not install fonts at all, or to not overwrite existing fonts. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install the current version of the Liberation fonts from https://github.com/liberationfonts/liberation-fonts/releases/tag/2.1.5 2. Run the LibreOffice installation wizard 3. Check the installed version of the Liberation fonts Actual Results: The current font version has been overwritten with version 2.1.4. Expected Results: The current version of the font, 2.1.5, should be installed (or left alone). Khaled, is that correct that we overwrite system fonts regardless of if they are more recent? In any case, confirming that Liberation needs updating: https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/download.lst?r=d059aebd#151
I don’t know how the Windows installer handles fonts.
