Description jteera5 2022-08-09 17:04:19 UTC
Description:
Search had been fine until I upgraded to LibreOffice 7.3. In a Calc workbook with Thai texts. Press Ctrl-F and search an existing Thai word and Calc crashes. I use Linux Mint 20.3 and Windows 10 on different machines. It only happens in Linux Mint.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load the attached Calc file ThaiSearchCrashes.ods
2. Ctrl-F and search for an existing phrase in the worksheet like อำนาจเจริญ.
3. Calc crashes everytime and the recovery screen appears.

Actual Results:
If search is not found, it display a message. But if the search phrase exists in the worksheet, Calc crashes everytime and the recovery screen appears.

Expected Results:
Search moves the current cell to the cell it found.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
Search moves the current cell to the cell it found.

To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test?
Comment 4 Julien Nabet 2022-08-09 18:11:13 UTC
On pc Debian x86-64 with LO Debian package 7.4.0.2, I don't reproduce this.

In addition to what Xisco asked for, could you indicate what are:
- Language in User interface
- language in Locale setting

(Both can be found in menu Tools/Options/Language Settings/Languages)
