Description: When editing a chapter of a story, I use the <CTRL - mouse left click> to bring up the next chapter. 7.3.5.2 does not allow this. Actual Results: Download a story Open a chapter. IF, at the bottom of the chapter there is a hyperlink that looks like this: Chapter 18 (usually in 18pt blue text), hold CTRL down and left click the mouse ON the hyperlink. Previous to 7.3.5.2 that brings up the next chapter. Expected Results: I EXPECTED the new chapter. What I get is this "Warning": It might be dangerous to open "file:///../Program Files (x86)/Authors 5a/Sarge/Honkytonk Hero/57099_Chapter_17.html". Do you really want to open it? Followed by: Windows cannot find "file:///../Program Files (x86)/Authors 5a/Sarge/Honkytonk Hero/57099_Chapter_17.html". Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: SHOULD have brought up Chapter 17.
Correction! This only happens on chapters I have previously edited. Thank you.
Can you make and attach a minimal sample.odt with link to chapter.html being in the same folder as sample.odt?
I made a simple ODT with a link to HTML and I don't reproduce. It may be some local issue or specific to those files.
Who is giving the Warning? Antivirus program, which one? Paste Help-About.
(In reply to Timur from comment #4) > Who is giving the Warning? The exact wording of the warning matches our STR_DANGEROUS_TO_OPEN [1]. Indeed, we need Help->About and a sample document to see the details, why *some* links end up pointing likely to some incorrect (and read-only) locations. Created attachment 181771 [details] Edited sample Help/About is at the bottom of the Sample. Hyperlink is not present in .odt. This happens when I am directly editing html files. I tested this file. Hyperlink no longer works. I'm also attaching the file that the hyperlink is supposed to access.
[Automated Action] NeedInfo-To-Unconfirmed
(In reply to JIM7 from comment #6) > Help/About is at the bottom of the Sample. I couldn't locate it in test of attachment 181771 [details] (also in its source). > I'm also attaching the file that the hyperlink is supposed to access. I couldn't find that file either. Anyway: when I download the attachment to my D:/Downloads as "72282_Chapter_02.html", copy it side-by-side as "72282_Chapter_03.html" (so I have these two files next to each other), and open "72282_Chapter_02.html" in LibreOffice Version: 7.4.0.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 1512ce97d7ed39dce3121f7e15651fd8895f950e CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI: en-US Calc: CL (I just right-click the file in Windows Explorer and choose "Open With LibreOffice"), I can Ctrl+Click on the hyperlink at the bottom of the document, and the other file gets open in Chrome without warnings.
Again Needinfo for reporter to make reproducible problem. Best if you can try on another computer.
