I have a document with 8 pages normally, composed of very long table(s). (I didn't actually make the template, so I am not sure how many tables there are in it). The last page has a single cell of the table (it is very long), but the page before that has 9 rows of the table. When I click on the long cell on the last page, it splits the 9 rows onto 2 pages such that the first 6 rows are on one page and the remaining 3 are on a new page (giving 9 total pages then). Then, if I click the cursor back into the table that split into either the 6th row on page 7 or in the 7th row that is now on page 8, the table recombines onto a single page again. Clicking in the 9th row also causes the table to split like this. I would expect the table to always be formatted correctly and not jump between pages depending on which cell is clicked on. I have a document I am reliably able to reproduce this on both 7.2.7.2 and 7.3.4.2, but it contains information that I do not want publicly disclosed on the bug tracker. I am willing to send it to a developer to work with if they require it though.
Hello, How can I eliminate confidential data from a sample document? https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FAQ#How_can_I_eliminate_confidential_data_from_a_sample_document.3F Thank you
Please attach an example document. Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the document.
You could try LibreOffice 7.4.5. There where some improvements related to table rendering/splitting. It sounds similar to bug 143121
